Hello and welcome to the website of past pupils of Don Bosco School Alaknanda, New Delhi. Don Bosco Alumni (DBA), as we call it, hopes that this website portal becomes your connection for all communications with respect to programs, events, projects, offerings and networking opportunities provided by or through the DBA for your benefit or service.
The Don Bosco Alumni strives to leverage collective strength from senior alumni members to nurture their younger counterparts. We aspire to connect with all school alumni members and keep the old fires burning brighter.
I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize, that easy topics for persuasive speech on mental health the purpose of the alumni is not only to come back to school, to meet your old friends & and teachers, but also to realize the importance of belonging & strong and bonding that can be created developed among ourselves. We, as individuals, must realize that our school has has given us a lot during all those years that we have spent here made a significant contribution in who we are today & and now, it is for us to give back our school , in whatever capacity that we are capable off. The spirit of Don Bosco that has been inculcated in us for all those years should become a part of our lives and existence.
Each one of us can play an important role. Remember, big accomplishments begin with small acts. Whether you live in Delhi, or anywhere in the world, this is a great way to enrich your life and deepen your connection with your own, ‘Bosconian Family’.
In today’s time, when there are With so many options no boundaries to remain to stay connected and and numerous opportunities available to each one of us to collaborate among ourselves, I would request all our Bosconian brothers – those , who are already registered with us, and through you, all other Bostonian – to become a part of this family and help it grow further. Manish graduated from IMEI, Mumbai in 1993. He also received a certificate in ‘Advance Dental Manufacturing Techniques’ from Siemens, Dusseldorf, Germany, 1995. Manish joined family business of trading in dental equipment, instruments and materials. Currently, he is heading the parent company as its sole proprietor and providing state-of-art dental equipment to various government hospitals, state health & family welfare departments, colleges and several other organizations. Dr Aseem Gulati completed his schooling from Don Bosco School ,Alaknanda in 1995. He completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2000 and Masters of Dental Surgery (Orthodontics ) in 2003. He has been a consultant to various hospitals in Delhi before heading the Dental Department at Chandiwala Hospital, Kalkaji from 2010 till 2013. He is presently working as a Senior Consultant with Apollo Hospitals. He also maintains his exclusive Orthodontic Practice in Greater Kailash-II since 2003. Vipul Gupta is an experienced professional with multidisciplinary skills and expertise. He loves to call himself “Jack of All and Master of Some”. A technocrat by nature, he has a Post Graduate in Management with specialization in Marketing from Amity University, Noida after completing Graduation in Commerce from Delhi University. He is business-savvy, broad-based and dedicated professional with 15+ years of marketing and product development experience, enabling startup and established companies to increase focus on revenue and product longevity. Mr. Nakul ButtaCommittee memberClass of 2002
Nakul completed his Masters and Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He worked for several years in the U.S. and returned to India in 2011. Since his return, he has been working in the environmental and sustainability sector. He actively volunteers with organizations in the field of education, health, social services and local community based initiatives. He is the founder and lead organizer of New Delhi Rising, a Delhi based volunteer group that restores public spaces in the city. As a fitness and outdoor enthusiast, Nakul is an avid runner and is a regular top finisher in big races including Mumbai full marathon and Delhi half marathon. Don Bosco Alaknanda Annual Alumni Meet 2015 (10th edition)
The Don Bosco Alumni (DBA) of Alaknanda, New Delhi hosted the 10th Annual Alumni Meet on Sunday, 06 December 2015. The meet was held in the auditorium at our very own school premises in Alaknanda, New Delhi.
The meet was a memorable one and began with a formal welcome of the teachers and other guests. Father Babu inaugurated the event and shared some thoughts and updates relating to our school. Mr. Manish Mathur, President of DBA, addressed the audience which was followed with teacher felicitation of Mrs. Jyoti Kohli for her years of dedication and love for her students. Mrs. Kohli’s family was present in the audience for the award giving and appreciation ceremonies. Dr. Ashish Gupta, Secretary of DBA, shared a summary of the past year of activities of DBA along with a progress report.
Following the formal session, everyone moved downstairs in the junior school assembly area where Mr. Ankon Mitra, a fellow alumni member, conducted a beautiful workshop on Origami where adults and kids enjoyed building an Origami pyramid. The kids had fun on the bouncy and played multiple games with prizes. Game prizes and welcome mementos were sponsored by Mr. Vipul Gupta, another alumni member, of KK Fashion Hangers. Adults, including wives of former students, engaged themselves in some fun and energy filling rounds of tug-o-war.
Lunch was served for the group and everyone had a great interaction that went on late in the afternoon. During this entire time, lots of photos were clicked and many laughs were shared between all those attending. As always, the meet provided a great opportunity for former students to reconnect with alumni members of all ages, sharing new experiences and growth stories along the way.
This annual meet was unique as there was greater attendance of families i.e. alumni members bringing along their family members. It all added to the energy of the meet.
The 10th annual meet of DBA at Don Bosco School Alaknanda was a great celebration of strengthening old bonds and building new ones. Hoping to see even more alumni members next year!

The Don Bosco Alumni (DBA) of Alaknanda, New Delhi hosted the 9th Annual Alumni Meet on Sunday, 07 December 2014. The meet was held in the auditorium at our very own school premises in Alaknanda, New Delhi.
The meet was a memorable one and began with a formal welcome of the teachers and other guests. Father Babu inaugurated the event and shared some thoughts and updates relating to our school. Mr. Manish Mathur, President of DBA, addressed the audience which was followed with teacher felicitation of Ms. Margaret Smith for her years of dedication and love for her students. She delivered a beautiful and heartwarming speech. Dr. Ashish Gupta, Secretary of DBA, shared a summary of the past year of activities of DBA along with a progress report.
Following the formal session, everyone moved downstairs in the junior school assembly. The kids were entertained by a magic show in the auditorium that was followed by more fun and games downstairs. There was also a bouncy for the kids to jump around. The tug-o-war rope used for sports days was brought out and several energy filled rounds to batch vs batch and other contests took place. Alumni members and others in attendance also played some basketball, reminiscing lunch breaks and short basketball games.

As always, the meet provided a great opportunity for former students to reconnect with alumni members of all ages, sharing new experiences and finding new connections.
The 9th annual meet of DBA at Don Bosco School Alaknanda was a great celebration of strengthening old bonds and building new ones.
